STS Simulator Training

MarineCode’s STS Superintendant followed a 3 days course in Athens to become a certified POAC (Person of Overall Advisory Control) . This extensive course has been provided by Dynamarine, the leading company in risk assessment and mitigation for STS operations. The training covered technical and legal aspects of ship-to-ship transfer, including manoeuvers on simulator. Combined with an up-to-date Master Class 1 STCW Certificate of Competency and a Tanker and Chemical Cargo Operations Course Certificate, our crew is able to carry out STS operations in full compliance with international regulations.
